I am ready for some serious celebrating!
We had another funeral on Saturday. This time it was a sudden stroke in a "dry member" who was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. Brother Stan Deibler and his amazing wife spent several weeks in New Orleans helping with Katrina clean-up. He was the first non-member I have ever heard speak in Sacrament when he and his wife reported on their experiences. It was memorable and touching. Coming so close on the heels of Dustin's service, many ward members were commenting on how overwhelmed they were feeling.
It is time to have some joy--and we are looking forward to a couple of precious new babies in the ward to bring that to us.

Just a warning, we'll update you in another week and a half: NO LONGSLEEVED SHIRTS! Record highs (90's) the next three days, we MAY hit 79 by next Monday, maybe. Warn the grandkids.
Mom, you are wonderful. What a lot for a great little ward in PA to go through. Take a deep breath--is that pumpkin spice I detect? Tis the season, and we all love you.
I'm glad we had such a good time last night. I hope it cheered you a little. Enjoy your weekend.
Honey-Girl: Put all the sadness behind you and enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday with the youngun's. I will be there in spirit and send God's Blessings and my special thanks for letting me share your lives through the blogs.
Kisses and hugs to all y'all.
