Well, the bunnies have moved out. I suspect they found adventuring out of the nest quite exciting. Eastern cottontails are abundant around here, and they can have several litters a year. I guess for now we just put out the "Vacancy" sign.
We have acquired another nestful of babies, robins this time. They moved into a nest built under our deck by a nervous dove. She left every time we came outside, but the robin family is perfectly comfortable. Mom and Dad do fly around shrieking when we walk close, but the robinettes are fine. If you enlarge the pictures, you can see everyone better.
By the way, please share these nature stories with the little kids. I am doing them for them.

Ilana and Forester want to say that your house is like a zoo! Forester says that "the robins are very cute, because they really are cute!" Ilana thinks that "BOTH the bunnies and the robins are SOOO CUTE!"
Thanks for sharing. They don't care that you're not a cinematographer, they just love the wriggling bunnies--funny that a bunny foot can be so sweet.
