This was the beginning of our "snow flurries" on Wednesday morning at 7:30. I just got back from taking Bill to the BWI airport as fluffy stuff was starting.
By mid-morning it was building nicely, and the cats were entertained by the flakes floating outside the windows. They kept batting at ones that came close.
We were forecast to get 1-2 inches, but it snowed for 14 hours and we ended up with over 5 inches!!
I absolutely love it!! Of course, I canceled seminary on Thursday morning. All our schools were on 2 hour delays anyway, but it was cozy to sit in the living room, wrapped up in a throw, watching the fireplace, and drinking hot cocoa!! Snow is great if you don't have to shovel or drive in it. Although that can be fun, too, but not at 14 degrees!!
It is still out there today (Friday) and I hope it lasts for Dad's return tomorrow. We've had more flurries/snow showers today and there is freezing rain for tomorrow. Sledding, anyone??

Let's hope that daddy makes it in before the rain starts, that stuff is very dangerous.
Sounds very Cozy!
